CAN 2023 : GROUPE RAGNI lights up the Félix Houphouët-Boigny stadium in Abidjan.
Côte d’Ivoire had the honor of hosting the Africa Cup of Nations for the second time in its history, following the memorable 1984 edition.
Côte d’Ivoire’s 6 stadiums, including the emblematic Stade Félix-Houphouët-Boigny, vibrated to the rhythm of sporting feats and fan fervor.
Buoyed by unprecedented national enthusiasm, the “Elephants” wrote a new page in history at this 2023 edition, winning for the third time in the arena. The renovation of the Félix-Houphouët-Boigny stadium, undertaken in 2020 to offer fans an unforgettable experience, has been optimized thanks to the contribution of GROUPE RAGNI, which has illuminated the area around the stadium, in collaboration with Compagnie Ivoirienne d’Électricité (CIE). The group has transcended aesthetics to dramatically improve lighting levels, providing a vibrant and safe atmosphere.
Tertuce LINGANI, Sales Engineer GROUPE RAGNI CÔTE D’IVOIRE : « TheBENTO luminaire is the benchmark for urban lighting. Its installation around the stadium is ideal, as this model combines quality and durability, with its 215 watts and luminous flux of over 28300 lm. ”
One month on from the Elephants’ stunning victory, enthusiasm is still palpable throughout the country.
As the country prepares for more iconic sporting events, BENTO luminaires will continue to illuminate not only the playing fields, but also Côte d’Ivoire’s rich cultural heritage.
